GRS - Global Recycled Standard

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, and comprehensive product certification standard managed by Textile Exchange. It establishes strict requirements for third-party certification of products containing recycled materials. GRS allows verification of:

• The recycled content in both intermediate and final products.

• Full traceability throughout the supply chain.

• Responsible environmental practices, including water treatment and waste management.

• Compliance with strict social criteria, such as safe working conditions, no child labor, and freedom of association.

• Control and restriction of hazardous chemicals in production processes.

The goal of GRS is to promote responsible, transparent, and sustainable production by ensuring the accuracy of recycled content claims, minimizing environmental harm, and protecting workers’ rights.
